Mashida Chicken
Mashida Chicken is located on Sandusky St near Amato’s. This is a must try if you are looking for chicken tenders or wings. The tenders are amazing and you get so many large wings!
Hamburger Inn
I know you may see the name and the diner style seating and think this place is not worth the wait, but it is. The Buckeye Milkshake is fantastic, the huge cinnamon rolls are scrumptious and the hamburgers are done perfectly.
1808 American Bistro
1808 American Bistro is located across from The Strand Theater and has convenient parking by the police station (across from the library). This restaurant has consistently good meals and an amazing brunch on Sundays. You should probably make a reservation though on their website before you head over there.
J. Gumbos
If you like New Orleans style cuisine or have thought about trying it, this is a great place to go. You get A LOT of food with a meal, so make sure you are hungry. My favorite is the Bourbon Chicken. I do not think you will be disappointed if you give this place a try.
Amato’s
If you like wood-fired pizza, Amato’s is a must try. There are so many different types of pizza and you can create your own as well. There is pasta, salads and my favorite is the meatball appetizer. Fridays and Saturdays are super busy here and they are closed on Sunday.
Opa
Opa has good burgers and pasta. I have not tried the gyro yet, but really want to. I have heard it has the best bourbon selection in the state. You can’t go wrong here.
